Requirements

  • Exceptional guest service skills required
  • Live sound FOH mixing experience
  • Strong knowledge of signal flow and gain structure
  • Experience with digital consoles (DiGiCo, Yamaha, Avid ETC)
  • Familiarity with RF systems, Waves plugins, and Dante audio
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure
  • Experience in live events, hospitality, or casino environments
  • Working knowledge of lighting and video systems
  • Must have a Dante certification and receive a Dante Level 3 certification within 90 days
  • Obtain Smaart certification with-in 90days of hire
  • Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
  • Proven intermediate skills in Windows, MS Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, charts, forms and other information and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as FOH (A1) Audio Mix Engineer for concerts, shows, and live entertainment
  • Advance shows by reviewing tech riders, coordinating backline, and communicating with artists, touring engineers, and production teams.
  • Prepare input lists, patching, signal flow, and audio system layouts
  • Prepare, test, and deploy audio systems and equipment before events
  • Lead soundchecks and ensure full system readiness
  • Lead load-in, setup, strike, and equipment storage while maintaining an orderly floor, keeping key components together, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment
  • Provide real-time audio support during events
  • Monitor and record SPL for ticketed events using Smaart
  • Maintain and operate PA systems, consoles, RF, and networked audio systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues quickly in live environments
  • Leads/Mentors A2s and audio assistants during performances
  • Delegate FOH and stage responsibilities as needed
  • Train team members and hired personnel to maintain high production standards
  • Collaborate with lighting and video teams to support smooth event execution
  • Support smaller casino events, meetings, and general AV needs as audio lead
  • Serve as duty tech responding to daily AV calls across the casino
  • Use ticketing system to track and complete service requests
  • Assist in maintaining AV systems across audio, video, and lighting
  • Perform basic maintenance and track audio equipment inventory
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
