The Cage Shift Supervisor is responsible for promoting morale, productivity, and efficiency within the Cage department. This role provides a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers and may act as a Cage Cashier, Employee Banker, or Vault Cashier as needed. The supervisor ensures compliance with all company policies, Tribal, State, and Federal Regulations, Title 31 requirements, and IRS reporting guidelines. They oversee cage functions during their assigned shift, safeguard the casino's bankroll, and supervise the performance of Cage employees, addressing any issues or grievances. The position involves reviewing work procedures to identify improvements, training and mentoring Cage employees, and assisting with kiosk and coin machine issues. The supervisor is also responsible for accurate and timely shift change preparation, kiosk drops and balancing, jackpot verification, and administering daily cash receipts and disbursements, including monitoring MTL/MIL in accordance with Title 31 regulations.
