The Auction Coordinator I represents Auction.com at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps. The role involves conducting, co-hosting, and otherwise participating in auctions, interacting with bidders, completing the tasks and processes needed for successful events, and educating customers about how to participate in auctions. Auctions take place in Everett, Washington, at county courthouses. Travel time may vary, and occasional travel outside the primary territory may be required; a rental car may be provided based on projected mileage. The position averages 4–10 hours per week, though hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Auctions are held every Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. Weekly assignments are made by the Area/State Manager according to scheduling needs, so a flexible and adaptable schedule is required. Training sessions, administrative work, and other opportunities to develop skills may provide additional paid hours. The position pays $25.00 per hour. Compensation after the initial training period may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. The role also offers professional experience, training and development opportunities, an employee recognition program, an employee referral program, eligibility to participate in the Auction.com 401(k) program, and travel pay for applicable personal vehicle use. Eligible employees may receive medical, dental, and vision insurance; an employer contribution equal to 25% of eligible 401(k) contributions; and PTO, including 12 paid holidays. Benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may vary.
