About The Position
SunBuggy is hiring an ATV Rental Representative, also known as a Jr Dunie, to work at Oceano Dunes. This role involves preparing OHV vehicles (ATVs, UTVs, and Dune Buggies) for rental, including loading, unloading, pre-trip inspections, fueling, and general maintenance. The Jr Dunie will also be responsible for educating guests about rental options, managing guest expectations, and ensuring vehicles are ready for customer arrival. The position requires maintaining a clean appearance of vehicles and work areas, assisting with equipment rinsing, and greeting/orienting guests before rentals.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain and foster cooperative and courteous working relationships with the public, peers, and supervisors.
- High School Diploma and basic math competency.
- Ability to look up directions and navigate.
- Ability to communicate clearly over the phone, online, and in-person.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch, bend, and reach.
- Ability to use a cell phone to access directions, take pictures, and perform inspections.
- Driving record free of DUIs.
- Pass Pre-Employment and random substance abuse screenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain a Valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of OHV vehicles (ATVs, UTVs, and Dune Buggies) at storage facility staging area.
- Perform OHV pre-trip and check-in inspections.
- Fuel and prepare OHV vehicles for rental.
- Maintain knowledge of different rentals offered by SunBuggy to answer guest questions and set proper expectations.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager to ensure rental vehicles are ready ahead of guest arrival.
- Maintain a neat appearance of vehicles.
- Participate in keeping the shop and staging areas clean.
- Prepare and line up OHVs as dictated by schedule and submit a ‘ready’ picture for Q.C.
- Assist with rinsing off equipment at the end of the day.
- Greet and orient guests before rental, taking a ‘go’ picture with each group.
