About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring enthusiastic, safety-minded Attraction Attendants at its Syracuse location. The role supports safe, smooth attraction operations while providing friendly, engaging service to guests. Attendants explain attraction rules and features, assist guests throughout their experience, manage guest flow, and perform safety checks and equipment inspections. The position requires a welcoming attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment, and availability for nights and weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Able to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
Able to stand for 4–10 hours while maintaining an energetic, welcoming attitude.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nights and weekends are required.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Experience in amusement or attraction operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of attraction requirements, safety procedures, and proper guest usage.
Complete safety checks, including inspecting harnesses and restraints before each use.
Examine equipment regularly for wear and tear and promptly report concerns.
Welcome guests and ensure proper harnessing, appropriate attire, and understanding of attraction rules.
Guide guests throughout their experience, explain attraction elements, and encourage them.
Verify that children meet required height and age guidelines.
Assist guests as they enter and exit attractions.
Manage guest flow to keep attractions operating smoothly and safely.
Follow operational and maintenance procedures using provided equipment and training.
Uphold safety standards and consistently enforce attraction rules.
Deliver outstanding service that reflects Apex Entertainment's values.
Multitask while maintaining a calm, upbeat presence.
Take on additional tasks as assigned to support overall operations.
