About The Position

Kelley Kronenberg’s Workers’ Compensation Defense team is looking to add an Associate Attorney. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in Florida. We’re looking for a thorough, detail-driven litigator with excellent writing skills and a genuine interest in defense practice.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar license required.
• At least 3 years of experience practicing as an attorney
• Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting.

Nice To Haves

• Workers’ Compensation defense experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a caseload of Workers’ Compensation defense matters from initial assignment through resolution.
• Review claims files and medical records closely, with careful attention to detail.
• Draft status reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Appear at hearings on behalf of clients and handle all aspects of motion practice.
• Keep clients and adjusters informed through consistent, professional communication.
• Work closely with the Managing Partner on litigation strategy and case development.
