About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining all athletic grounds. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of lawn care and athletic field maintenance, including the operation and maintenance of mowing equipment. They should also be familiar with basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures. The role requires the ability to keep an accurate schedule of athletic events, follow directions, handle a high-volume, fast-paced workload, work independently, and complete assignments in a timely manner. Familiarity with mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and blowers is essential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Clear and valid Texas driver's license
• Driving record that meets the requirements of the district's insurance carrier
• General knowledge with lawn care and athletic fields maintenance
• General knowledge with the operation and maintenance of mowing equipment
• Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to handle high-volume, fast paced work load
• Ability to get along with others
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely and workable manner
• Ability to work independently
• Must be familiar with mowers, weed eater, edger, blowers, etc...
