Temporary Athletic Trainer

About The Position
Provides on-site athletic training coverage for athletic facility rental events on a temporary, as-needed basis. Delivers first aid, injury assessment, emergency care, and other athletic training services to support the health and safety of event participants. Hours vary according to event coverage needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree.
- At least five years of athletic training experience in the field after certification.
- Certification by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
- Athletic Training Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of Iowa.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- NCAA Division I experience.
- Experience with manual therapy rehabilitation techniques.
