About The Position
The Athletic Security employee works after school to provide security for GLTS student-athletes around the athletic complex. The role monitors athletic facilities, supports security during games, supervises student-athletes waiting for late buses, and locks and unlocks locker rooms. The employee frequently stands, walks, and talks or hears, and occasionally lifts or moves items weighing up to 10 pounds. The position requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus, as well as the ability to meet multiple demands and interact with the public and other staff. The work environment has a moderate to loud noise level. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor gyms, athletic fields, the weight room, and locker rooms.
- Be available during GLTS games and address security concerns that arise.
- Assist student-athletes with late bus supervision.
- Lock and unlock locker rooms.
