About The Position

This is a student worker position at College of DuPage. The Athletic/PE Equipment Manager Aide will assist in all operations of the equipment room, PE classes, and athletic contests. This includes day-to-day operations, laundry, maintenance and repair of sporting and PE equipment, maintaining inventory, managing computer records, and setting up/taking down equipment for events. The role also involves home athletic contest operations and other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
  • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience and/or participation in or with athletics required.
  • Knowledge of various sporting equipment required.
  • Good organizational and communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of computer data entry required.
  • Must work well under pressure and be able to handle last minute changes and needs of coaches, athletes and students required.

Benefits

  • Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
