About The Position

This is a student worker position at College of DuPage. The Athletic/PE Equipment Manager Aide will assist in all operations of the equipment room, PE classes, and athletic contests. This includes day-to-day operations, laundry, maintenance and repair of sporting and PE equipment, maintaining inventory, managing computer records, and setting up/taking down equipment for events. The role also involves home athletic contest operations and other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work experience and/or participation in or with athletics required.
Knowledge of various sporting equipment required.
Good organizational and communication skills required.
Knowledge of computer data entry required.
Must work well under pressure and be able to handle last minute changes and needs of coaches, athletes and students required.
