Ate Process Engineer – Wp

Micron•Manassas, VA

About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking an ATE Process Engineer to manage and track DRAM technology transfer projects for assigned areas, ensuring deliverables and schedules are met and all work complies with Micron safety policies. The role collaborates regularly with sending Fab teams and MCT and partners with PE, PIE, ME, and Fab Area Leadership to close gaps for technology qualification and volume manufacturing ramp. The engineer drives alignment projects that improve transfer, startup, yield, quality, and ramp performance; develops area-specific project and communication plans; and leads new-node Value Engineering projects and Tool Evaluations. The role ensures GCP matching with the sending site and coordinates tool-release plans, process mismatches, and CEERB items. It also applies reuse-tool matching strategies, oversees area projects and Transfer Expectations, captures lessons learned and mitigation plans, accommodates process and hardware changes, and coordinates FOAK material readiness with Procurement and IQC.

  • Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Wet process engineering experience.
  • DRAM technology transfer experience.
  • Experience supporting PRD/TRD data analysis, CEERB processes, tool matching, or advanced technology node ramp.
  • Ability to analyze processes and matching data.
  • Experience with multi-fab alignment programs.
