About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless, personalized shopping experience by handling Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. You help customers, support sales goals and teamwork, and maintain a clean, organized, inviting shopping and service area. The position is seasonal and requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with genuine hospitality and engage them in friendly, personal conversations.
- Support total store fulfillment, including Buy Online Pickup In Store, order pickups, returns, and other assigned tasks.
- Use the systems needed to complete transactions and keep the customer pickup collection area organized.
- Complete BOPS orders promptly and provide curbside delivery when needed.
- Recover merchandise and keep pickup and return areas clean and shoppable.
- Share loyalty program benefits, help customers with their needs, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you.
- Support teammates through collaboration, honesty, and care.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay current on trends and promotions.
- Work toward sales goals and acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
