About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support activities including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role centers on delivering a seamless, personalized shopping experience through customer service, sales, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping and service area, and may work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Daily work includes preparing the At Your Service area, reviewing sales goals and product information, welcoming and assisting customers, completing store-fulfillment tasks and transactions, and keeping pickup and return areas organized. You help ensure BOPS orders are completed on time, including curbside delivery, and share loyalty-program benefits while providing a positive customer experience. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, achieving sales goals, and adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other At Your Service activities.
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, personalized service that meets Macy’s service standards.
- Assist customers with total store fulfillment, including online order pickup, and use the systems required to complete transactions.
- Keep the At Your Service, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Complete BOPS orders promptly and provide curbside delivery.
- Share loyalty-program benefits and help acquire new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay current on trends and promotions.
- Work toward sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
- Collaborate with and support colleagues to serve customers and communities.
