About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless, personalized shopping experience by assisting with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. Colleagues may work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position involves welcoming and assisting customers, supporting total-store fulfillment, completing transactions using the required systems, and keeping pickup and return areas clean and organized. Colleagues help achieve sales goals, share loyalty program benefits, and collaborate with teammates to deliver strong customer and store results. The position also involves maintaining a clean, organized, inviting shopping space.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support At Your Service activities, including BOPS, merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks.
- Welcome customers with genuine hospitality and engage them in friendly, personal conversations.
- Assist with total-store fulfillment, including Buy Online Pickup In Store, and use the systems needed to complete transactions.
- Keep the collection, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner.
- Recover merchandise and help maintain a shoppable space.
- Share loyalty program benefits, help customers with their needs, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you.
- Review sales goals and learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support the team in achieving sales and store results.
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
