Seasonal Retail At Your Service Associate, Mall At Prince Georges
About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support activities that create a seamless, personalized shopping experience, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role requires multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. Schedules may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs and colleague availability. You welcome customers with genuine hospitality, help with total store fulfillment, and use the systems needed to complete transactions. You keep pickup and return areas clean, organized, and shoppable, and help ensure timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders. You also share loyalty program benefits, support sales goals, collaborate with colleagues, and help create a welcoming shopping environment.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules or procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds; stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level are also required.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other At Your Service activities.
- Welcome and assist customers with genuine hospitality, including friendly, personal conversations.
- Assist customers with total store fulfillment and complete transactions using the required systems.
- Keep the At Your Service, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Ensure timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders.
- Recover merchandise and maintain a shoppable space.
- Share loyalty program benefits, help acquire new customers by opening credit accounts, and support daily sales goals.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
- Collaborate with and support teammates to achieve individual and store results.
