About The Position
The At Your Service Associate supports Macy’s At Your Service activities and helps deliver a seamless, personalized shopping experience. Duties include Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, curbside delivery, and other assigned tasks while meeting Macy’s service standards. The position calls for multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach in a fast-paced environment. Scheduling may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs and colleague availability. Associates welcome customers with genuine hospitality, help with total store fulfillment, use the systems needed to complete transactions, and keep the pickup and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers. They support sales goals, learn about new products and promotions, share loyalty program benefits, and help acquire customers by opening credit accounts. Associates also collaborate with colleagues, recover merchandise, and contribute to an inviting and shoppable store environment.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Resourcefulness, adaptability to changing priorities, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use electronic devices.
- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities

- Welcome customers with genuine hospitality, engage them in friendly conversations, and provide personalized service.
- Assist customers with total store fulfillment and use the systems needed to complete transactions.
- Keep the collection, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Recover merchandise and help maintain a clean, organized, shoppable space.
- Complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner.
- Share loyalty program benefits, help open credit accounts, and work toward daily sales goals.
- Stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling products, trends, and promotions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to individual and store results.
