At-Home with Oaknoll Care Coordinator, Full-Time
About The Position
Oaknoll is seeking a full-time At-Home with Oaknoll Care Coordinator to help manage the At-Home with Oaknoll program and support staff and residents through empathetic service and communication. The role focuses on helping residents feel at home and building lasting relationships with residents and staff. A 40-hour work week is expected, although the exact schedule may vary according to residents’ needs. Oaknoll is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Iowa City, Iowa, providing resident-centered care and services through its CREATE values: caring, respect, enthusiasm, awareness, teamwork, and encouragement. The organization aims to help people experience joyful, active, and connected lives as they age, and to provide competent, caring, and compassionate health care when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification, or ability to become certified within 60 days of employment.
- Nurse Aide certification and active or eligible status on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, or ability to become certified within the first 60 days of employment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Valid Iowa driver’s license and a clean certified driving record, provided before hire.
- Adequate auto insurance.
- Strong interest in serving the geriatric population.
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and billing using Aaniie software.
- Train new caregivers.
- Assist with client care plans.
- Keep client and employee information up to date in Aaniie.
- Fill open caregiving shifts as needed.
- Respond to At-Home with Oaknoll emails and phone calls.
- Assist the manager in ensuring program needs are met.
