About The Position

Visiting Angels of Greensboro is hiring a reliable, compassionate, and dependable At Home Senior Caregiver to provide home care assistance to adults and seniors in the Greensboro, North Carolina area and surrounding communities. The role supports seniors in remaining in their own homes and includes essential non-medical care, companionship, meal assistance, household tasks, observation and reporting, recordkeeping, and helping maintain a safe environment. The office serves Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, and the Triad Area, so travel to surrounding areas may be required. Caregivers communicate their work availability to the Coordinator weekly or as required. Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience.
Strong professionalism and reliability.
Valid driver's license.
Personal, reliable transportation to and from shifts.
At least 18 years of age.
Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Compliance with all agency policies.

Nice To Haves

Dementia or Alzheimer's experience.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification.

Responsibilities

Provide essential care to the client.
Provide continuous companionship while on duty.
Assist with meal planning, food purchases, and food preparation.
Wash dishes and clean the kitchen after meals.
Help the client maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
Observe the client's general physical, emotional, and mental condition and report changes.
Keep appropriate records of activities in the client's home.
Help provide a sense of security and protect the client, as much as possible, from harm related to the debilitating effects of illness.
Assist the client as needed, excluding medical care.
Communicate work availability to the Coordinator weekly or as required.
