Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for an Assistant Women's Gymnastics Coach. The Assistant Coach assists in developing a Division I competitive Women's Gymnastics program. The primary function of the Assistant Coach is to teach student-athletes the sport of Women's Gymnastics, working primarily with beam and floor exercise. The Assistant Coach will evaluate and recruit qualified student-athletes to Temple University whose athletic skills make the program highly competitive and whose academic abilities make them excellent candidates for a meaningful academic experience and for graduation from Temple University. The Assistant Women's Gymnastics Coach supports the Head Coach by upholding the program established by the Head Coach, including but not limited to creating, planning, organizing, motivating, communicating, and controlling aspects related to recruiting, practices, competitions, and related booster clubs. The Assistant Women's Gymnastics Coach is expected to conduct themselves in a manner representative of the University, the Department, and the sport, both on and off the field of competition. The Assistant Women's Gymnastics Coach is expected to be knowledgeable about and comply with NCAA regulatory policies governing their sport, as well as NCAA and conference policies governing recruiting, eligibility, ethical standards, playing seasons, and extra benefits.
