Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides advanced care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is the region’s healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. This senior-level operational leader is responsible for optimizing patient flow, surgical throughput, and operational efficiency across Surgical Services (multiple departments). This position enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. The role directly oversees non-clinical teams critical to surgical access and efficiency. It leads initiatives to improve case flow, throughput, on-time starts, and turnover efficiency. The role acts as a primary operational contact for surgeons regarding access, throughput, and efficiency concerns. It focuses on process improvement, data-driven decision making, surgeon experience, and patient access. The role develops and presents operational performance data related to throughput, utilization, efficiency, and access. It works in close partnership with clinical leaders, surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative leaders. The role performs miscellaneous duties and fulfills other responsibilities not expressly described herein.
