About The Position
Pillsbury is seeking a mid-level associate (3rd – 5th year) to join the Corporate and Securities practice group in the New York City office to handle the hypergrowth of its nationally ranked emerging company/venture capital practice. The role will primarily involve advising innovative/disruptive companies, entrepreneurs, and their financiers on all aspects of corporate law, including formation and venture capital transactions, M&A, technology transfer transactions and joint ventures and other "outside GC" capacities. You will work across a broad array of industries (ecommerce, health and wellness, AI, CPG, media, social media, software, cybersecurity, and transportation).
Requirements
- Mid-level associate (3rd – 5th year)
- Strong academic background
- Fluency in Excel and cap table/waterfall modeling
- Exceptional research and writing skills
- Passion for working with hard chargers in a fast-paced startup practice
- Admitted to practice in New York
