About The Position

The Associate sells products using the POS system, assists customers, promotes store products and sales, and supports daily store and kitchen tasks. The role includes keeping the sales floor and store clean and organized, performing routine inventory, unpacking and displaying merchandise, accurately handling cash and other payments, and following G Spot policies and procedures. The associate must comply with federal and state laws governing alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales. Availability is open, including some holidays. Duties may include other job-related tasks assigned by an authorized person, and may be modified to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

Basic math skills, including performing calculations related to register functions.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and outside vendors.
Good listening skills and the ability to keep customers' best interests in mind.
Time-management and organizational skills to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Ability to make sound judgments and decisions, work under specific guidelines, and operate effectively under stress.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks and deal well with people while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude.
C UST Certification.
Tobacco and Alcohol Certifications.
Ability to stand or walk for more than 8 hours a day; lift or carry up to 50 pounds; perform repetitive finger, arm, and hand movements; bend, crouch, and stoop; press keys on registers, scanners, and other electronic devices; and occasionally climb ladders.
