About The Position

The Associate role at California Chicken Cafe is responsible for preparing the restaurant's famous scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. This involves maintaining a positive work environment, adhering to company values, preparing and packaging food orders, using kitchen appliances, storing and labeling food correctly, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and stocked restaurant. The role also requires strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, or the work environment, and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements
Fully documented to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant

Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
