About The Position

The Associate role at California Chicken Cafe is responsible for preparing the company's famous scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. This position requires maintaining a positive and friendly work environment, adhering to company core values, and ensuring food orders are made and packaged correctly. Associates will use various appliances to prep and process food, store and label items according to health regulations, and follow recipes precisely. A clean, sanitized, and well-stocked restaurant is essential, along with strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, or the work environment. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is expected, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements
Fully documented to work in the United States
