About The Position

The Lane Bryant Associate creates a hospitable store environment through customer engagement and contributes to the achievement of Company goals. The role represents the brand through fashion and product knowledge, provides a seamless omnichannel experience, and supports store operations as needed.

Associates create a warm and welcoming environment and use intentional conversations to understand customers’ needs and wants. They share information about current products, fit, and fashion trends to help customers build wardrobes, feel inspired, and develop trust. Associates also use company resources to reinforce the brand experience and build enduring customer relationships.

The position involves planning and prioritizing tasks to meet customer and business needs, protecting company assets, maintaining a safe work environment, and following company policies and applicable employment laws. It is a regular part-time position at the Burleson, Texas store.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales or hospitality experience is preferred, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency and confidence using mobile technology, such as registers and iPads, to engage with customers.
• Frequently move or adjust store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions; occasionally move or adjust items weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as available.
• Frequently retrieve merchandise above shoulder level, potentially using a ladder up to 12 feet high.
• Occasionally replace overhead lightbulbs or signs using a ladder up to 12 feet high.
