About The Position

The Associate Vice President on the Commercial Entertainment team is responsible for providing the highest quality service to customers, selling new lines of coverage, cross-selling within the existing book of business, and managing a team. This role serves as the main point of contact between the insurance company (Marsh Agency) and clients (Business Managers and/or high net worth individuals). The position provides daily guidance and oversight to the team of support staff responsible for processing transactions of an assigned book of business. The role requires extensive experience and continuous expansion of knowledge about new products and services to meet client needs. An insurance designation or related classes will be required, or may be substituted with at least 15-20 years of work experience in insurance. The Associate Vice President has greater accountability to develop support staff, evaluate the effectiveness of work output and workflows of their teams, ensure company policies and SOG’s are followed, and to develop and track annual business goals to increase sales and maximum retention of book value.
