About The Position
The Village Animal Clinic is a community-focused general practice in Voorheesville, New York, providing care to small animal and exotic patients. The Associate Veterinarian will practice medicine and surgery, wellness care, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventive medicine, with opportunities to work with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. The clinic offers a collaborative, supportive, mentorship-focused environment, medical autonomy, skilled technicians, client service representatives, and leadership support. Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply; new graduates receive hands-on mentorship and guidance.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in New York.
- Passion for patient care and building long-term client relationships.
- Interest in working with both small animals and exotic species.
- Ability to collaborate in a positive, supportive team environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
