About The Position

Bensonhurst Veterinary Care is hiring an experienced, compassionate, team-oriented Associate Veterinarian for its small animal hospital in Brooklyn, New York. The hospital provides personalized medicine and advanced diagnostics in a collaborative, family-oriented environment. Its services include wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, laser therapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, stem cell therapy, behavior counseling, and emergency services. The position may be part-time or full-time and offers flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Compassionate approach and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Current DEA license (preferred but not required).
• USDA accreditation (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive small animal veterinary care, including wellness and preventive medicine.
• Perform or provide diagnostics, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and other treatment options.
• Provide services that may include laser therapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, stem cell therapy, behavior counseling, and emergency care.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to deliver patient care.
