About The Position

Haywood Road Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care to canine and feline patients. The hospital is a well-established, family-owned, full-service small animal practice in Greenville, South Carolina, with a supportive and collaborative team and a focus on quality medicine, meaningful client relationships, and work-life balance.

The veterinarian will perform wellness examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, educate pet owners, and collaborate with the veterinary team to provide an excellent client and patient experience. The practice offers opportunities to provide preventive care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and more advanced procedures, with access to digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, comprehensive dental services, and surgical capabilities. Veterinarians at all experience levels, including recent graduates, are encouraged to apply. The hospital operates Monday through Friday, with weekends and major holidays off.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to continued learning.
• Interest in practicing comprehensive small animal medicine.
