About The Position

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Active license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
• Confidence practicing independently.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

• GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
• Internship training.

Responsibilities

• Practice veterinary medicine with clinical autonomy, focusing on patient care rather than numbers.
• Build a schedule by choosing preferred work days (4-5 days per week for full-time roles).
• Work across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience.
• Collaborate with a community of fellow veterinarians and receive medical leadership and mentorship.
• Focus on practicing medicine without the burden of scheduling, logistics, and coordination, as these are handled by IndeVets.
• Potentially include shifts in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care based on availability and interest.
