About The Position

IndeVets offers a unique approach to associate veterinarian roles, prioritizing well-being and sustainable career paths. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian, you will work 1-3 days per week with a guaranteed biweekly salary and dedicated scheduling support. Your schedule is planned in advance, offering predictability for your personal life. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, enabling you to focus on practicing medicine. You can earn additional income by picking up extra shifts, which can be paid out or converted to PTO. You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the stability of a single employer. Opportunities to work in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care are available based on your interests and scheduling possibilities. This model eliminates the need for shift searching and weekly schedule rebuilding, offering a structured and sustainable way to practice veterinary medicine.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

Nice To Haves

• GP, ER, or urgent care experience
• Internship training
