About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our network in Gloversville, NY. We offer a unique employment model designed to provide stability, support, and control over your career and life outside of work. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian, you will work 4-5 days per week, with a schedule you control, built in advance by a dedicated scheduling coordinator. We handle scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed biweekly salary, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience and building relationships with teams. We support various interests, including surgery, dentistry, ER, and urgent care, when possible. Our model emphasizes clinical autonomy with a focus on patient care, not numbers, and provides dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of veterinarians. We also offer access to a veterinary social worker and ongoing CE and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
  • Active license (or ability to obtain).
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
  • Confidence practicing independently.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

  • GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
  • Internship training.
