About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in New Orleans, LA. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control, built in advance by a dedicated scheduling coordinator. We handle scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You'll practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. We do not have production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes, and we emphasize clinical autonomy focused on patient care. You will have dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians, plus access to a veterinary social worker. Ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are also provided.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• Internship training
