About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian for Fayetteville, NC. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian wellbeing by replacing rigid contracts with sustainable career paths. You will have control over your schedule, guaranteed income, and hands-on support from a trusted community. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian working 4-5 days per week, you will build a schedule in advance with the help of a dedicated scheduling coordinator. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy with a focus on patient care, not numbers, and provides dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians. Access to a veterinary social worker and ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are also provided. This model is designed to prevent burnout and offers leadership and mentorship opportunities, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and flexibility to evolve your schedule over time.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
