About The Position
Watzin Veterinary Clinic, a Small Animal practice in Waterdown, Ontario, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated, progressive, client-focused individuals in a collaborative and family-oriented environment. Watzin Veterinary Clinic has been a full-service small animal clinic serving Hamilton and surrounding areas for over three decades. The clinic is fully equipped with the latest technology, including CO2 laser, digital x-rays, digital dental radiography, a dedicated dental suite, and a rehabilitation area. The clinic is Fear Free Certified, with trained veterinarians and staff implementing Fear Free practices to ensure a comfortable experience for pets. This includes recognizing pet behavior, identifying FAS scores and triggers, and offering segregated canine and feline reception areas. The clinic prioritizes team member growth and well-being through mentoring, coaching, and open discussion, ensuring ample opportunities for learning and skill development. Watzin Veterinary Clinic also supports the local community by assisting pets in need and serving as a donation drop-off location for the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
Requirements
- Provincial DVM licensing, or eligibility to be licensed
- Passion for what you do every day
- Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must
- A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills
