About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Sacramento, CA. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian wellbeing by offering flexible schedules, guaranteed income, and comprehensive support. As a part-time W-2 employee working 1-3 days per week, you will have control over your schedule, with a dedicated coordinator building your schedule in advance. You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the stability of a single employer. The position emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides a strong support system including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of peers, and access to a veterinary social worker. Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills

- GP, ER, or urgent care experience
- Internship training
