About The Position

Rogers County Pet Hospital is hiring an Associate Veterinarian for its full-service veterinary hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma. The hospital emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care, preventive care, client education, teamwork, and continued learning. Its facilities include ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscopy, an in-house diagnostics lab, rehabilitation and cold laser services, dental and full-body digital X-ray equipment, a dedicated dental room, and clean, climate-controlled boarding facilities.

The veterinarian will build relationships with clients and partner with them to provide high-quality patient care. The role involves treating each pet as an individual to minimize stress, anxiety, and discomfort; keeping current with emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols, and equipment; collaborating with the hospital team; and helping develop the support team. The position is available full-time or part-time. Experienced veterinarians are preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA-accredited university.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
• Active veterinary state license.
• USDA accreditation or ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Compassionate, team player, and strong communicator.
• Proficient in general medicine and surgery.

• Veterinary experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
