About The Position

Skeet Club Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian who enjoys general practice, routine surgery, and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. This opening is exclusively at our Skeet Club location in High Point. You will join a seasoned team that values thoughtful medicine, teamwork, and respect for every role. The role involves caring for dogs and cats through preventive visits, sick appointments, selected urgent cases, and routine soft tissue surgery. Appointments are generally 30 minutes, giving you time to examine patients, explain recommendations, and make a plan with each family. Specific areas of focus include dermatology (30-40% of cases), selected urgent care (work-ins may include vomiting, diarrhea, breathing concerns, limping, dog bites, cat abscesses, and lacerations), and routine surgery (spays, neuters, mass removals, enucleations, and laceration repairs). A visiting specialist handles orthopedics and advanced dental surgery, and the medical director handles dentistry.
