About The Position

Whole Pet Veterinary Center is a well-established hospital in Westford, Massachusetts, with a 4.7-star Google rating. The clinic provides fear-free small-animal general practice and exotic-animal care, with an average of 14 patients per day and approximately two support staff members per veterinarian. Its case mix includes wellness care and surgery, with access to a traveling ultrasonographer and cardiologist. Equipment includes digital X-ray, dental X-ray, in-house laboratories, and monitoring equipment. The Medical Director serves as the practice’s clinical leader and medical voice, setting standards for medical quality, patient care, client experiences, and team culture. The role combines hands-on clinical practice—spending most of the time providing direct patient care—with leadership, mentoring and developing associate doctors, guiding medical quality, and supporting the veterinary team’s professional growth. In partnership with the Practice Manager, the Medical Director provides medical oversight of hospital operations and care delivery, supports exceptional outcomes, and contributes to performance metrics and business goals. The clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian or Medical Director to join its experienced, collaborative team; interest in seeing exotics in addition to small animals is welcomed.
