Associate Value Engineer

The job overview for this role is that Celonis is seeking an Associate Value Engineer to join their Global VE Center of Excellence. This is a 12-month program designed to provide hands-on experience in customer engagements and training to develop essential VE skills and competencies. The Associate Value Engineer will work with clients to uncover their core business challenges and determine how Celonis EMS can help them achieve their objectives. They will also collaborate with customers and partners to design and build solutions in the Celonis EMS that drive value realization and ensure a positive return on investment.

• Consult with customers and end users to understand their core business challenges and determine how Celonis EMS can help them achieve their objectives
• Modify existing Celonis applications or create new ones using Vertica SQL and PQL to provide solutions to customer process pain
• Develop proof projects within the Celonis platform to showcase the value of Celonis EMS for customers' strategy, business initiatives, needs, and challenges
• Review technical components of Celonis IT architecture with customers
• Collaborate with customers and partners to design and build solutions in Celonis EMS that drive value realization and ensure a positive return on investment
• Build strong relationships with customers by acting as a trusted advisor and demonstrating technical and product expertise
• Present the strategic and quantitative business value of Celonis to senior executives to drive investment decisions
• Work with the implementation services team to ensure customer value is realized post-sale
• Monitor and create success plans for customers and manage customer renewals
• Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering teams to create innovations and influence product innovation
• Create re-usable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global VE Center of Excellence and provide feedback to the regional Value Engineering team.

• Previous technical experience in enterprise software
• Strong analytical and systems analysis skills
• Ability to uncover core business challenges and determine how Celonis EMS can help
• Proficiency in Vertica SQL and PQL (Celonis' proprietary coding language)
• Experience in modifying or creating applications within the Celonis platform
• Ability to execute proof projects to showcase the value of Celonis EMS
• Knowledge of Celonis IT architecture
• Collaboration skills to design and build solutions in Celonis EMS
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers
