About The Position

This role focuses on the end-to-end execution of unsigned product assortments managed by Fanatics Authentic. Responsibilities include new product development, assisting with optimal quantities and pricing, managing inventory levels, and innovating in the unsigned product business. The position also involves strategic procurement of unsigned merchandise for autograph signings, coordination of jerseys for decoration, tracking performance reports, conducting data analysis, and anticipating needs. The buyer will also be responsible for SKU creation, cutting POs, and planning with the Product team. Additionally, they will participate in building relationships with key hard goods vendors to create beneficial partnerships.

Requirements

A proven track-record of building and creating world-class, high-performance products to set and deliver against aggressive financial targets and operational deliverables.
Ability to work well under pressure as the sports world is ever changing so we can capitalize on hot markets and micro-moments.
Deep understanding of the league/team/property/college partners and the fans they serve – and the ability to coalesce a unified vision of product to drive sales and a culture that is relentlessly focused on enhancing the fan experience with Fanatics.
Obsessive about best-in-class customer/ fan experience across all touchpoints to build best in class products across the sports you are responsible for.
Highly data/metrics-driven and analytical with a structured problem-solving approach and with a profound understanding of how to drive sophisticated customer intelligence capability, working closely with data teams to do so in an omni-channel environment, and will have deep familiarity with the relevant supporting technologies to drive best-in-class experience.
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time for partner meetings, events, and other related activities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the Unsigned Product Business – Focus on the end-to-end execution of unsigned product assortments that are managed by Fanatics Authentic.
New product development, assisting with optimal quantities and pricing, managing inventory levels and aiding in finding ways to innovate in our unsigned product business.
Tracking and Planning Unsigned Buying Needs – Assist in strategic procurement of unsigned merchandise for autograph signings as well as coordination of jerseys to be decorated pre and post signing.
Tracking performance reports, conducting data analysis and anticipating needs.
Execute the Day-to-Day Responsibility of buying needs – Assist in the SKU creation process for all items within your purview, as well as cut POs, and plan with Product team for needs.
Participate in Relationships with Key Hard Goods Vendors – Collaborate closely with those vendors to build relationships and create lasting partnerships that can be beneficial for both sides.
