About The Position
Performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department. The role provides patient and delivery transport services, including transporting patients to and from testing or treatment areas, responding to STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharging patients to designated areas, and transporting outpatients to inpatient and testing areas. The role uses the Transport Tracking System.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Obtain a CPR certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain it thereafter.
- Any required Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications must be granted through the American Heart Association, effective January 2019.

- High school diploma preferred.
