Louisiana Associate Therapist - PLPC only, fully remote, free supervision
About The Position
Daybreak is hiring a Louisiana Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) associate clinician to provide evidence-based teletherapy to K–12 students across Louisiana. The role includes collaborating with school counselors and families statewide, participating in case consultations, and contributing to clinical program development as the program grows. The position is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling, including weekday afternoons and evenings and available weekend slots. Daybreak handles billing, credentialing, and administrative work. Free supervision is provided through a Daybreak-assigned supervisor when caseload requirements are met. Clinicians are compensated for late cancellations and no-shows. The stated pay range is $30–$40 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold an active PLPC license in Louisiana; the employer is currently hiring only this license type.
- Have completed at least 500 post-graduate supervised hours.
- Have experience or a strong interest in working with school-aged youth and families.
- Be comfortable using telehealth and EHR systems.
- Be available Monday through Friday afternoons/evenings; weekend slots are also available.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency; bilingual applicants will be prioritized.
- Experience in CBT, DBT, or similar modalities.
- Prior school-based or youth-focused experience.
- Active NPI and CAQH.
