About The Position

The Associate, Strategy & Value Creation provides hands-on analytical support across Worldwide Golf, Big 5 Sporting Goods, and enterprise-wide priorities. This cross-functional role spans strategy, operations, merchandising, supply chain, and marketing, turning data into practical decisions, tools, and process improvements. The Associate builds analyses, dashboards, and decision rules, investigates operational problems to identify root causes, and helps carry recommendations through implementation. The position is suited to an analytically strong early-career candidate who is curious, self-directed, comfortable with imperfect data, and eager to own workstreams in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. It is fully onsite at Worldwide Golf Headquarters in Santa Ana, California, with frequent travel to Big 5 Headquarters in El Segundo, the Big 5 Distribution Center in Riverside, and Big 5 stores. The position offers broad exposure to strategy, operations, merchandising, and supply chain across two retail businesses, with ownership from day one.
