About The Position

Skyryse is seeking an Associate Social Media Content Creator to join its Design team, a small, broad group covering design, brand, marketing, and product. The role manages Skyryse’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube, and creates the copy, video, and photography that support those channels. It offers creative latitude and responsibility for content that is published. The work involves identifying activity across the company—including flight tests, prototype builds, and company milestones—and quickly turning it into content for internal and public audiences. The creator will develop ways to showcase Skyryse teams’ work and help build the company’s communication channels and public brand. The position reports to the Director of Design and works closely with Communications, Corporate Development, and the CEO. This is a full-time, onsite role based in El Segundo, California, with regular travel to Skyryse hangar locations in Southern California, including Camarillo and Hawthorne. Schedule flexibility is required when flight tests or milestones occur outside core hours.

  • Experience capturing and editing short-form video and photography for social platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom.
  • Experience creating content in live, uncontrolled environments.
  • Strong writing skills for short-form copy, captions, and hooks.

  • Track Engineering and Flight Test work, anticipate milestones worth covering, and proactively pitch and plan future content.
