About The Position

The Associate - Sales position is a full-time, entry-level role at RRD. It includes a comprehensive four-month Associate Development Program (ADP) designed to prepare participants for a career as a Sales Associate by teaching sales strategies, practices, and industry knowledge. The program has a required cohort start date; RRD is hiring in Madison Heights, Michigan, for the February 2027 cohort. Some travel is required while shadowing sales representatives, and reliable transportation is required to travel to and from clients within the designated territory.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, communications, packaging, economics, or a related field, with an interest in sales.
• Prior experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce.
• Sales internship or experience selling.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform RRD's sales steps through training and observation.
• Learn and successfully execute prospecting and cold calling to build new accounts.
• Shadow sales representatives; some travel is required.
• Assist senior sales representatives with sourcing, securing, and managing new and existing business.
• Attend internal and external sales meetings.
• Maintain relationships with existing accounts and customers.
• Build a sales funnel specific to the post-training assignment.
• Continue developing industry knowledge through marketing and sales publications.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
