About The Position

This role is for an Associate Sales Representative in the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) division, based in Portland, OR. The position is field-based and requires up to 90% travel. The Associate Sales Representative will work closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to build knowledge, skills, and comfort with clinical and product knowledge, as well as selling styles and techniques. They will receive training and be expected to study and prepare independently to perform at high levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals. The role involves representing Stryker as an industry leader, identifying and promoting solutions, and selling products that change patients' lives. The representative will collaborate with the team to build their own business, identify and prospect new customers, and take care of existing ones. They will also assist Sales Representatives in determining necessary resources for customers to achieve sales objectives and foster a culture that makes CMF a destination for top performers.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and demonstrate ability to organize a busy schedule.
  • Capacity to deal with competing priorities and potential to be adaptable as days change quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships in the sales capacity.
  • Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room environments.
  • Prepared to spend up to 90% of time in the field with customers and sales professionals (including some weekends, and some overnight travel).
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services This would include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems
  • Comfortability with adapting to new technology and business advancements.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Would need personal car to transport product inventory and travel to support customers.
  • Learns from set-backs and develops tactics and strategies to minimize recurrence.
