About The Position

The Associate Sales Director, Walmart for our Ice Cream business is a role fully dedicated to aggressively growing our Ice Cream business at Walmart through design for channel strategic growth opportunities as well as accelerated partnership and joint business planning focus. Customer Business Development (CBD) is what we call our Sales organization at The Magnum Ice Cream Company. CBD works closely with customers and internal cross functional teams to create and implement joint business plans that deliver value for the customer and company. CBD leaders are expected to pioneer new products, build categories, and deploy best-in-class store and digital capabilities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree is required
  • 8+ years’ Customer Business Manager or equivalent management experience required
  • Walmart channel Account Management with CPG is a must.
  • Experience in omni-channel and demonstrated eCommerce capabilities
  • Must be skilled in verbal and written communications
  • Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Must be a strategic thinker that can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative manner
  • Must have strong relationship building and management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Trade Marketing and Category Management experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI, Trade Promotion Management and Customer POS Data is strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop sustained business relationships and drive profitable sales volume for the Ice Cream Category.
  • Deliver sales and profit share goals while improving return on holistic customer investment, in line with joint business plan targets and customer and brand strategies.
  • Improve in-store and online presence by leading brilliant execution across the extended team of Shopper Marketing, eCommerce, Category Management, Category Insights, Business Development and Supply Chain.
  • Lead the multifunctional effort with customer counterparts; develop and execute joint business plans; manage NSV and trade investment; manage and lead retail initiatives; lead direct report and a multifunctional team.
  • Customize corporate marketing and merchandising programs to win with Club.
  • Coordinate and manage CD initiatives.
  • Coordinate Joint Business Plans.
  • Drive strategic relationships and accelerated growth, while operating within approved Trade Marketing parameters and driving trade investment efficiency.
  • Routinely interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Balance individual customer needs while ensuring total Market integrity.
  • Develop new solutions and influencing change with a strong bias for action.
