About The Position

Reckitt is looking for a skilled business analyst to join its Walmart team. This role is based in Bentonville, AR and has a hybrid work structure (+3 days/week in office to be decided upon with your manager) in a new, state-of-the-art office building.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, management, finance, accounting, data analytics, or related field
  • 1-2 years of analytical experience in consumer goods, retail, or other relevant industry experience
  • Some direct Sales and/or Brand Management experience with cross functional exposure to other Business Operations preferred.
  • Must be able to independently conduct in-depth data analysis to develop strong, persuasive selling stories.
  • Knowledge and experience with syndicated data, customer card/POS, panel data (Nielsen/IRI, Scintilla Shopper Behavior, Numerator)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Excel using the following functionality: VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, Pivot Tables/chart.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical, report running and analytical abilities
  • Solid communication skills to include verbal, presentation, and written capabilities
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide updates on in-store promotions, including feature/display sell-through rates and rollback discount. Assess the effectiveness of these promotions and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales lifts and execution status.
  • Measure performance and impact of assortment, promotions, pricing, and placement. Communicate results effectively across the business.
  • Deliver and enhance a weekly tracking report detailing our sales performance at the category, segment, brand, and item levels, both in-store and online. Including actionable insights to assist team members and Walmart merchants in their decision-making process.
  • Support the team in managing attribution for our portfolio for 3rd party data providers.
  • Assist team members in forecasting and items set up and updates when needed.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of current digital content on Walmart.com to ensure there are no errors with products on Walmart.com and that all our products are visible to consumers by utilizing Supplier One.
  • Assist the total team with identifying deductions using High Radius and Retail Link and ensure that Key Account Manager (KAM) resolves them.
  • Support category, sales and trade in identifying assortment gaps in the portfolio as needed.
  • Support sales in delivering and presenting insights to support line reviews and meetings, justifying business decisions. Key data types may include sales performance, market trends, consumer insights, inventory levels, and competitive analysis.
  • Provide Ad Hoc assistance for KAM or team members whenever needed. May be required to utilize platforms like Scintilla Shopper Behavior, Scintilla Report Builder, Nielsen, Numerator, and PowerBI.
