About The Position

McMichael & Gray, P.C. is seeking an experienced Associate Real Estate Attorney for its Greenville, South Carolina office. The attorney will join a well-established, high-performing team at a growing real estate law firm with long-standing client relationships across the Southeast. The role offers an opportunity to join an existing office with steady firm business, collaborating with experienced attorneys and support staff while managing real estate transactions. Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• At least 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law.
• Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Must live in or be willing to commute to the Greenville area.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours when necessary, especially at month-end.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing.
• Review title work and closing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Represent lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout real estate closings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and internal team members.
• Collaborate with the Greenville office team to support smooth, efficient closings.
• Maintain the firm's standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service.
